GitHub Actions and GitHub Runner exemplify the power of CI/CD.

GitHub Actionsis a tool that enables developers to create, package, share, and execute code right from GitHub repositories. Developers can automate tasks across their development workflow, including CI/CD, testing, deployments, and issue responses.

GitHub Runner is an application that runs jobs from a workflow in a virtual environment. It listens for available jobs, runs one job at a time, and reports the progress, logs, and results back to GitHub. You can host runners on your own hardware or in the cloud.
